INTRODUCTION OF THE CONFERENCE

The International Conference on “the Role of Women in Science & Technology andInternational Integration for Sustainable Development” will be held in conjunctionwith the 14th INWES APNN Annual Meeting by the Vietnam Association forIntellectual Women (VAFIW) from 4th to 5th October 2024 in the National InnovationCenter, Ha Noi, Viet Nam

GOALS/OBJECTIVES

1. To encourage professional women, students and others in the Asia and Pacificnations, who are interested in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics(STEM) and in gender issues to discuss common topics, projects and initiatives forsustainable development.

2. To define strategic plans of APNN, promote cooperation, coordinative mechanism,experiences sharing and networking

PANEL

Two panels will be organized:

1/ Panel 1: Gender and STEM

Topics: Gender and Gender Equality; Gender-related issues; Gender in STEM; S&Tresearch and the commercialization of its products; Innovation, creation and IP; STEMeducation

2/ Panel 2: Health and Environment

Topics: Nutrition and food safety; Physical health and psychological support in thepost-covid 19; Products for health protection; Green economy and Environment;Climate change and its adaptation; and Sustainable Development.

PAPERS

Papers (abstract and full text) in English should be submitted to the Organizer viavafiw2024@gmail.com before August 31st 2024. Selected papers will be presentedorally or by poster at the Conference. All papers will be documented in the proceedingsof the Conference.

EXHIBITION

Exhibition on Art and S&T products by Vietnamese women scientists, engineers andentrepreneurs will be displayed in the front of the Conference Hall.

Each APNN member will be provided FOC a space of 4m2 including 01 table and 02chairs for displaying their materials and products. If it needs to hang posters, kindlybring standee itself.

REGISTRATION

Registration fee is 150 USD/person

Early bird is 100 USD/person (before August 1st 2024).

Registration fee for young scientists/engineers (under 35 years old) is exempted if theregistration by August 1st 2024

Participants will be requested to input personal information, transportation andaccommodation details. They will also select working panel sessions to join in theconference.

VISA

All international participants are requested to have entry visa to Viet Nam, except thosecountries granted visa exemption. Visa fee is at participants’ expenses.

1. Conference venue is at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac HiTech Park, Thach That, Ha Noi

 2. Hotel accommodation is at ASEAN Resorts, 21A Hoa Lac, Thach That District,Ha Noi (website: www.aseanresort.vn)

Special discounted rates have been negotiated by the VAFIW

Hotel tariff: about 75 USD to 85 USD (double room); 100 USD to 110 USD (tripleroom). Participants are responsible for paying for their own hotel accommodations

The accommodation can be paid directly to the hotel by credit card or cash .


TRAVEL IN HA NOI

The VAFIW will arrange the airport pickup and send off from/to the airport to alldelegates, as such, please share with us the detail flight schedule as soon as possible.

The travel from/to the ASEAN Hotel to/from the Conference venue will be arrangedby the VAFIW during the Conference days

Để tạo thuận lợi cho việc biên tập và in ấn Kỷ yếu Hội nghị, các báo cáo chuyên đề cần theo thể thức sau: 

1/ Phông chữ: Phông chữ New Time Roman

2/ Chủ đề báo cáo: Chữ hoa, bôi đậm, giữa dòng, cỡ chữ 13

3/ Tên tác giả (đồng tác giả): Tên đầy đủ gồm học hàm, học vị, được trình bày tại trang đầu, dưới tên của báo cáo, phía bên phải, chữ nhỏ, in đậm, cỡ chữ 12.

3/ Báo cáo tóm tắt: tối đa 250 từ, chữ nhỏ, cỡ chữ 12, trình bày dưới tên tác giả

Từ khóa: 3-5 từ

4/ Báo cáo đầy đủ: Từ 6-8 trang, cỡ chữ 13

To facilitate in the editorial process of Conference Proceedings, the authors are kindly requested to format their report as following guidelines: 

1/ Font: MS word, New Roman Time

2/ Title of report: Bold, capital letters, centered, size 13

3/ Name of author(s): Appear in first page, under the title of report, right side

    Small, bold letters,  size 12

3/ Abstract and Keywords:  Following the name of author(s)

    250 words maximum

    Small letter, size 12

   Keywords: 3-5 words

4/ Full report:

• pages , size 13

  Report should be divided into   main sections  such as: INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHOD, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, and RECOMMENDATION (if any) (these words are capital, bold letters)

5/ Formating:
